Holiday Writing

On the holidays I went to Dad and we got Firewood  for the fire. And we catch some fish And     cook them up. Then we gut them and chop their Fins off and their heads Get to the meat .  At night I watched movies and played Far Cry and GTA And I bought some cars.  And then we went to McDonald's got a feed and then we went to Christchurch to go pick up And slot car seat.

Yesterday we did Candy Floss at our school Market Day. Our business was a success because, we sold lots of candy floss and made about $37. I learnt that running a business is hard work, requires patience and takes time to be successful. Next time I would work harder to make more Candy Floss to sell. 

The most interesting highlight of the day was everything I saw and learned, and our relationship with each other.  I really enjoyed the music as well, interesting choice of songs.  Jackson was the DJ of the day.

What is picture dictation?

A group of drawings that show the scenes from the story, i drew a picture of Benny and his friend.

What is role on the wall?

We drew a figure that was our character from the story and wrote inside different emotions that he showed.

What is an iceberg? 

A iceberg shows us what we can see about a character on the surface and underneath the water the bottom of the iceberg is things that we need to get to know the character to find out. 

Define hot seating: 

A thought track is when a character steps out of a scene to address the audience about how they are feeling.
